    What are International Pathway Programmes?

    International pathway programmes are transitional courses designed to help students progress into overseas bachelor’s or master’s degree studies. Their purpose is not to replace formal degree programmes, but to help students build the academic ability, language readiness, study skills, and learning habits required before entering the next stage of study.

    Depending on a student’s current academic background and progression goal, Inman Education currently offers two types of international pathway options:

    • Bachelor’s Pathway Programme: suitable for students who have completed junior high school, or who are currently studying in / have completed senior high school, secondary vocational school, or technical school, and plan to progress to overseas undergraduate study
    • Master’s Pathway Programme: suitable for students with a diploma or relevant academic background who wish to further apply for an overseas master’s degree through a bridging route

  • 1. Bachelor’s Pathway Programme: International Foundation

    The International Foundation programme is mainly designed for students who plan to enter overseas undergraduate study. It is usually arranged before formal bachelor’s degree entry, helping students adapt in advance to English-medium teaching, academic writing expectations, curriculum rhythm, and overseas learning approaches.

    Through an International Foundation programme, students can usually improve in the following areas:

    1、Adapt in advance to English-taught classes and the pace of overseas study

    2、Strengthen academic writing, communication, and research skills

    3、Complete the transition from domestic learning methods to overseas study approaches

    4、Build a stronger foundation for future undergraduate study in their chosen field

    Inman Education works with local universities in Malaysia to provide undergraduate foundation pathway options. According to each student’s academic background, English level, and future major direction, we help match a suitable bachelor’s progression route.

    2. Master’s Pathway Programme: LEB PDBA Route

    For some learners who wish to further apply for an overseas master’s degree, a master’s pathway programme is a more targeted bridging option. It is not equivalent to a master’s degree itself, but is designed to help students complete a further progression in academic level, study approach, and application readiness before entering the master’s stage.

    Programme Introduction：

    LEB SCQF Level 11 Professional Diploma in Business Administration (PDBA)

    The London Examinations Board (LEB) is an educational accreditation and certification body based in the United Kingdom. Its qualifications are recognised within the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF).

    The Professional Diploma in Business Administration (PDBA) awarded by LEB is positioned at SCQF Level 11, which is comparable to master ’s-level study. It is also aligned with international frameworks such as the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and the UK Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). At the same time, the LEB PDBA qualification has also been formally recognised by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and assessed as Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF) Level 7 (Postgraduate Diploma). This qualification is suitable for students who intend to continue their studies in Malaysia or other Commonwealth-system countries.

    This programme can serve as one of the pathway options for students aiming to progress to an MBA or related master’s degree programmes in the business field. Depending on the actual programme arrangement, the course is delivered mainly through online or blended learning, with emphasis on independent study, research, and written academic work.
